A safe method to remove discoloration deep in the enamel and thus whiten your teeth in a gentle and even caring way.

Bleaching (teeth whitening)

Do you want a bright, radiant and well-groomed smile? Not everyone has white teeth by nature. Rather, the colour of teeth is genetically determined or can become darker due to external influences. Tooth discoloration can be caused by tea, coffee, red wine, nicotine or the intake of certain medications. With modern tooth whitening methods it is possible to remove discolouration that has penetrated deep into the enamel and thus lighten the teeth in a gentle way. The whitening gels contain potassium nitrate and fluoride. These active ingredients are also contained in natural tooth enamel, thus having a caring effect and maintaining the health of the tooth enamel during the whitening process.
A medical tooth whitening should be carried out after a professional tooth cleaning. This way, superficial deposits and discolorations can be removed in advance so that the whitening gel can penetrate the enamel without hindrance.

Since not every tooth whitening procedure at
is recommended for every patient and every
tooth, or
makes sense, we, in the dental practice Dr. Nora Buchner. offer different tooth whitening procedures, which we can adapt to your individual situation.
+ Power-Bleaching:
This procedure is performed in our practice. While the gums are covered with a special protection, we apply a concentrated whitening gel to the teeth. The result is visible immediately afterwards.

+ Home bleaching:
You carry out this procedure yourself at home. You will receive a thin splint individually made for you, in which you put a mild whitening gel. The splint is worn either for a few hours during the day or overnight. With this procedure it takes a few days until the final result is achieved. The course of the procedure is monitored in our practice.

+ Tooth whitening for root canal treated teeth:
For root canal treated teeth it can happen that they become darker with time. In such a case it can be useful to whiten the teeth from the inside (internal bleaching), especially in the anterior region. The gel is inserted into the tooth and left there for 3-5 days. With this method, too, the progress is monitored in our practice.
